Frequently asked questions.
Straight answers about what we test, how we test, and what to expect.
How much sample do I need to send?
For lyophilized (powder) peptides, at least 2 mg. The original vial is ideal — we'll handle whatever's in it. For reconstituted samples, we provide volume guidance in your order confirmation.
How long does testing take?
Standard turnaround is 7 days from when your sample arrives at our Toronto lab. Most reports actually return faster than that. We'll email you as soon as the COA is ready.
What does the COA include?
Sample identity (confirmed by LC-MS), purity by HPLC at 220 nm, content (mg) measurement, a representative chromatogram trace, sample photo, analyst signature, and a unique 11-character verify key with matching QR code.
Can someone verify my report later?
Yes. Anyone can visit quantivalabs.com/verify and enter the key from your COA to confirm the document was issued by us. The QR code on the COA links to the same page.
Where do I send my sample?
Our Toronto mailing address is provided after you place an order. We do not publish it publicly to keep our intake organized — every shipment needs a task number assigned to it.
Do you ship internationally?
No. Quantiva Labs accepts samples from within Canada only. This keeps shipping times short, avoids customs delays, and lets us guarantee 7-day turnaround.
Will my sample be returned?
No. A small amount of sample is consumed during analysis, and the remainder is retained for 30 days in case re-testing is needed. After that it's disposed of properly.
Do you source or sell peptides?
No. We are an independent analytical lab only. We do not source, manufacture, distribute, or sell peptides. We test what you send us — that's it.
What if I lose my COA?
We re-issue COAs for free. Email us with your verify key or task number and we'll send a fresh copy. The original is also always retrievable via the verify page.
Can I see a sample COA?
Yes — every published test on our verify page is viewable. Or contact us and we'll send you a redacted sample COA so you know what to expect before ordering.
